GBuild

A macOS app that orchestrates a fleet of AI coding agents from one voice-first interface. Marketing site's live; the desktop app is in private development.

GBuild is the build environment I kept reaching for: each frontier model is the best at something, and GBuild lets you switch between Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and the rest per task, and run a fleet of them at once. Two surfaces: an approachable "Lattice" shell with a Jarvis-style voice sidebar, and a power-user "Batcave" portal with a grid of 12+ live agent terminals and an org mission-control dashboard. (Update: the Batcave was retired in June 2026; GBuild now ships one shell, with the power surfaces returning as native Apps inside Lattice.)

Electron plus a Rust sidecar (~150 source files) over JSON-RPC, pluggable agent drivers, a whisper/Piper voice pipeline, a RAG layer, bidirectional Obsidian sync, an MCP gateway, and the "G" mascot. The marketing site is live at gbuild.app (with an interactive 3D mascot at /play); the desktop app stays private until the core loop is solid. ~698 commits, signed builds already exist. It's pre-release, and I'm saying so. (Update, July 2026: those figures were true when this card shipped; the repo has since passed 6,300 commits and 275 notarized releases, current numbers live in the GBuild case study.)

The why, in long form: Building What I Keep Reaching For. The build: Building GBuild and the GBuild case study.
